  • Recruitment consulting for client companies

5. Candidate Terms

  • You authorize us to conduct reference and background checks (where applicable and with consent)

  • You understand we cannot guarantee job placement

5.2 Candidate Representations

You warrant that:

  • You are legally authorized to work in the locations you're seeking employment

  • You have the right to enter into employment agreements

  • You are not bound by non-compete or confidentiality agreements that would prevent placement

  • Your resume and credentials are accurate and not misleading

5.3 Candidate Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Respond promptly to communications regarding opportunities

  • Attend scheduled interviews and meetings

  • Inform us immediately if you accept employment elsewhere

  • Not circumvent our services by directly contacting client companies for positions we presented

6. Client Company Terms

6.1 Service Agreements

Specific terms for recruitment services will be outlined in separate service agreements. These Terms supplement those agreements.

6.2 Client Responsibilities

Client companies agree to:

  • Provide accurate job descriptions and requirements

  • Conduct timely candidate evaluations

  • Communicate hiring decisions promptly

  • Comply with all applicable employment laws

  • Pay agreed-upon fees per the service agreement

6.3 Fees and Payment

  • Fees are outlined in individual service agreements

  • Payment terms are typically net 30 days unless otherwise specified

  • Late payments may incur interest charges

  • Refund or guarantee terms are specified in service agreements

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Property

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, designs, and software, is the property of Third Pillar and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our Site for its intended purpose. You may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works

  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without permission

10.3 No Employment Relationship

Third Pillar is a recruitment agency. We are not the employer of candidates we place, nor are candidates our employees unless explicitly stated in a separate employment agreement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Third Pillar shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you (if a client) or £100 (if a candidate) in the 12 months preceding the claim

  • We are not liable for decisions made by employers or candidates

  • We are not responsible for employment disputes or wrongful termination claims

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

  • Any liability that cannot be excluded by law

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Third Pillar harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your violation of any rights of third parties

  • Your use of our services

  • Information you provide being false, inaccurate, or misleading

13. Confidentiality

13.1 Candidate Information

We treat candidate information as confidential and will not share it without consent, except:

  • With prospective employers for placement purposes

  • As required by law

  • To service providers bound by confidentiality obligations

13.2 Client Information

We treat client job descriptions and company information as confidential and use it solely for recruitment purposes.

14. Data Protection and Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

15. Dispute Resolution

15.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

15.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
